FAQs

How Do I Store Your Hearth Bread?

A: Since these are French bread, we recommend that you eat your fresh bread within 24 hours.

In the case that you have leftovers, we have found that it is best that they be stored in an airtight container (ziplock works as well but we recommend the reusability of tupperwares).

Now, please allow us a couple of minutes of rambling - Some people prefer the convenience of slicing the bread and store, some people prefer to slice as they go. You get to choose your own adventure on this one! Hey, doesn’t the moon look nice today? Leave the container out for a couple of days and it’ll be ok - on your kitchen counter or next to you in bed, we don’t judge. But if the weather is warm it’s best to keep it in the fridge. Stored this way you get to enjoy the bread for about 7 days, or in the freezer for about 6 weeks. Toast well before digging in.

About that freezer storage - if you want the convenience of toast and eat, we recommend that you slice the loaves and put small pieces of parchment paper in between them before the freezing process. If you are serving the loaves whole at a later time, ya can totally just freeze them as is. When ready to eat, heat on 350F (frozen) for about 30 minutes and serve!

Pst… We reformulated Lavender Lemon Bread and now it will keep nicely soft for several days. More time to eat, yasss!

Do You Offer Sourdough?

A: Our baguette is made using the classic sourdough method where the dough is fermented for up to 72 hours. This does provide a sourdough flavor. However, we do use yeast in our process and not a wild starter.

I'm Severely Allergic to Gluten, Is It Safe to Eat Your Foods?

A: Our kitchen is 100 % free of wheat, gluten, and dairy. We source ingredients produced on a certified dedicated gluten-free line! However, we have not sent our products for lab testing. If you have further concerns, please reach out.

I Don't Live In Your Area, Do You Ship?

Not at this time. You may wish to have a nice local friend purchase and ship it to you instead. Our operations change as we grow so do check back!
